Tutoring, work, drums.
These are my priorities at the moment.
To work out priorities, is important when you are not doing what you want. To set priorities, is setting a direction. And then the challenge is to stick to them.
(You do not need to be doing the priorities, for them to be priorities. Only to have them, and to want them.)
In this, God is the key.
And a brief check here is: PWSHE: prayer, worship, scripture, holiness and eucharist. Am I strong in one and weak in others? Am I only doing one or two?
And what does it mean to place God first? One of the interesting and proactive questions is, how can I shape my life, that God is first? (And I respect that this may be to spend more time with family.) Such as to pray in the morning. To put up some art that reminds me of God. To work to develop character.
To get out on that walk.
Despite not doing what you want, you can be in control.
