Most people do not want to be theologians. There are the books that you are supposed to read, tons of them; there are the buzz-words, such as hermenuitics, ousia and salvation. There is the Greek and the Hebrew, thrown in. And in case you have not given up, there is the paradigmatic disagreement on the basics, and of which many voluminous authors can be unaware of.
And in case you needed more humbling, one of the top ones tweets (in a poking way?),
I am actually becoming more fond of Christian theology as I write!
But there is also the peace in theology.
There may be the fierce storm, but there is the harbour on the other side.
And with time, the storm will become less fierce, and the harbour will become stronger.
